DANCE HEAlth fitness
Did you know that Ballroom and Latin Dancing is now accepted as an Olympic Sport! Now classified as Dancesport it has been recognized by the International Olympic Committee, although there is a way to go before it becomes an official medal sport. Also, a study by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York found that one of the best physical activities to offer protection against dementia was frequent dancing!
Every day we are bombarded about health issues; eat more, eat less, don't eat this! Strangely it seems that official bodies and the pharmaceutical industry seem to deal more in "illness" than "health", perhaps there is more profit there! We may move house or even country but the most important place we live in is our own body! Why not put your own "house" in order rather than relying on others to "sort it out". We can help to "sort ourselves out" with many common ailments through small adjustments to our nutrition and lifestyle

Fitness is so relative. For some, it is being able to climb a flight of stairs without getting out of breath. For others, it might be running a marathon. In the end, perhaps we need to be the best we can considering our age and circumstances.
